TimeTracker is an application for Palm Pre and Pixi to record your working time, associate it with projects, and annotate it with comments. Starting with version 4 you can control time recording not only manually but also automatically by entering or leaving a WiFi or GPS area. At the end of the month (or any other time) you can display your data in various charts and you can email a detailed spread sheet with your working time. TimeTracker supports English, German, and French language.

TimeTracker is distributed through different channels using various application names:

TimeTracker Lite provides limited evaluation of project data compared to the full version and no WiFi- or GPS-controlled time recording; it can be upgraded to the full version via the application menu using one of the payment methods indicated in the table above. You won't lose any data while upgrading from lite to full version.

The usage of the various application names is a result of the formation of new distribution channels since the first appearance of webOS. For each application name, a separate application is installed on your device. Starting with version 4.2 you can transport data between different applications using the Backup and Restore mechanisms. We recommend using "Palm App Catalog" as your distribution channel of choice if you want TimeTracker to be updated to the latest stable version as soon as we release new versions of TimeTracker (stick to "TimeTracker Full" or "TimeTracker" depending on the payment method you have chosen to buy the full version). Use "Palm Web Distribution" if you want TimeTracker to be updated to the latest experimental version with the latest features that may contain serious bugs and malfunctions (we will update "TimeTracker Preview" and "TimeTracker Beta" always simultaneously).
